                     "Che" Guevara's Handmade Painting

"Man truly achieves his full human condition when he produces without being compelled by the physical necessity of selling himself as a commodity."
                                                           — Che Guevara, Man and Socialism in Cuba

Ernesto "Che" Guevara was born June 14,1928 and executed on October 9,1947  is recognized as a historic revolutionary icon in today's date.. He was a missionary throughout his life and died a missionary.

A man who had an unending desire to help and was a major part of Cuban Revolution though he was not legally a Cuban citizen.
The world remembers him as a revolutionary but he was much more.He was an adventurous man,an author,

He had two long expeditions (first- 4500 Km solo trip through the rural provinces of northern Argentina on a bicycle on which a small engine, second- 8000 Km with Alberto on Amazon river on a boat gifted by lepers whom he had treated) you can read The motorcycle diaries or watch the same film.

Only a small band of revolutionaries survived to re-group as a bedraggled fighting force deep in the Sierra Maestra mountains .

There he suffered an allergy from mosquito bites that caused walnut sized cysts on his body,

they were his painful days.He convinced Castro and built factories to make grenades , ovens to

bake bread,he taught illiterate campesinos to read and taught new recruits about tactics.

He was second in command and  he had to sometimes shoot the traitors. There were times
when his men were completely outgunned and surrounded he got them out of there.

Though Guevara was a strict commander his men loved him enough to
give their lives for him.  On June 12, 1959, Castro sent Guevara out on a three-month tour of 14 mostly Bandung Pact countries (Morocco, Sudan, Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand,Indonesia, Japan,Yugoslavia Greece) and the cities of Singapore and Hong Kong.
